biblically driven, tried and true blueprint of God

Very up lifting and thorough. This will definitely give you the beautiful marriage God always wanted you to have.
It takes me about 30 minutes a day to read. Mainly because I'm a slow reader. But its biblically driven. Everything is about conforming to the blueprint God has designed for marriage. "The closer to Jesus we get the closer to each other we'll be." Is the main concept he begins with. Then he branches out with the premise that if we change our relationship with the Lord and faithfully practice the love of God toward one another through the Holy Spirit the minor details will fall into place. If we sensitize ourselves to the voice of God to obey the Spirit's conviction things will work themselves out naturally.
He goes deeper to discuss other details of how the love of God should be practiced including how we serve one another, communicate with each other, pray for one another, practicing the patient love of God in disagreements, seek God together through prayer, worship, and diligent stud of the word.
Ultimately I loved this one. It was very meaty. Not the typical fluff from most marriage books out there. If you want a deep biblically sound read that will transform your marriage into the beautiful realationship God always wanted you to have then this book is for you!

This book addresses some subjects that are tough to face... but are good to think about.
I like it and I like the prayers. I am addressing this without my spouse, and it is helping
me look at issues that I think are very relevant to marriage - even after 20 years of being
together!

Inspiring, Thought-Provoking Book

This book challenges the believer to see their marriage as God intended it to be. Everyone need a reminder at times of how good things used to be and still can be. It will make you reflect on yourself, your role, and that of your spouse. When I started reading this book I felt overwhelmed and burden by my spouse reactions towards me and only could see his faults. By the end of the book, I realized that the crazy cycle we are on was not solely his fault and I had to look at my own actions. This is my first time writing a book review as I am not an avid reader, but I decided after this book I will make it an habit to read a book that lifts my spirits and give me positive ideas on how I can continue to build my house up and not tear it down with my own words and reactions to situations. I would encourage you to ask your spouse to read this book too, just like my spouse asked me to read it. Inspiring.
