Great Book-highly recomennede.

I am a new dentist and starting out as a new practice owner and I found this book to be very helpful. Taking small steps to produce big results is such a big part of starting out in a new practice and this book really help me to understand this concept. I am full of big ideas and big dreams for my new practiceand I want all my big ideas to be in place as of yesterday. It helped me to realize that it is going to be a lot of small steps to get all of my big dreams and Ideas accomplished. It was packed full of helpful ideas and small step action plans that I can implement immediately to make a difference in my practice. I found this book to be very helpful and I can't wait to share it with my team. I would recommend his book to any one who has been in practice for only a few short weeks like me or someone who has plenty of experience and is in need of fresh and innovative ideas.

Motivating

In full disclosure- I know Dr. McLelland and he is a bright, outstanding and compassionate individual who fits the role of a surgeon above and beyond expectations. This book came from his knowledge base- experiences and otherwise derived. Specifically it addresses what has changed in our world today- why we need to change with it and HOW to change with it so we can grow and thrive with success. This book specifies the program to follow and I can endorse it as a low cost, efficient and predicable methodology that will take you in the direction you need to be in 2012 and beyond. The cost is insignificant compared to the gains it offers. You cannot possibly make a poor choice in the purchase of this book- it mathematically does not allow for this; even if you follow a portion of this plan you will make improvements and financially gain.

Too bad I cannot give negative stars because I would!

Horrible! I literally FORCED myself to read to about page 58 before finally giving up on this book. Simply awful. First of all, there is like 156 total pages, but the font is huge. With normal sized font, this "book" would be under 100 pages. Second, much of the information in this book is very common sense with the word "Kaizen" added. A number of editing errors such as (page 16) using the word "roll" when they really meant to use the word "role". Is this a cookbook? Are we talking about food here? Rolls? Come on! It is also pretty obvious that the kid who wrote this book was recently turned on to the NuCalm product as he pimps it in his book on multiple occasions. I wish I could get the money and time back I wasted on this "book".
